Mature guy looking for mature minded companion

I AM NOT LOOKING RAISE CHILDREN AT MY AGE. SO, IF WANT OR HAVE YOUNG CHILDREN, PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT ME, EXPECTING TO GET A REPLY. Ladies living outside of the USA, before making contact, please think about the practicality of dating unless you can travel to the US independently. I am a mature guy, who is adequately educated, well-traveled, and socially adaptable. Friends love conversations with me because they never know just where they may lead. I have a healthy appreciation for most art forms, from visual to the performing and I prefer small and less crowded vineyards and wineries. Maybe I have sophisticated taste, or maybe I'm just rustic and down to earth. You'll just have to find out for yourself by starting with a simple hello.

Insights
Describe the perfect evening.
I love dining out so for an evening date, a restaurant at water's edge would be great. But a good coffee spot or a wine bar would suffice as well. The object is to enjoy the presence of the other person through conversations, so noisy locations and a movie would not be good, especially on a first date.
Describe your perfect weekend.
I love car trips to nowhere in particular and to be surprised by delectable gastronomical finds. I also like spontaneous short trips to my favorite spot in Negril. I do have a preference for short duration vacations several times a year, rather than the annual ones that most folks tend to take.
Do you believe in love at first sight?
I believe in mutual attraction at first sight. Love has to evolve from first liking the other individual and having common/shared interests and social passions.
How many kids would you like to have?
I have none and have passed the stage of wanting any.
How important is someone's physical appearance to you?
Quite important, though I can't say that I admire the obsessively fussy. Overdone makeup and outlandish wigs , and multiple tattoos do not impress me. I admire a lady who is proud of her natural god given hair. Jeans and tees are just fine for me, when appropriate.
If you could have one super power, what would it be and why?
To play the piano like Herbie Hancock does.
What is the purpose of marriage?
To raise a family.
What is the most important lesson that you've learned?
The character of an individual is easily manifested in the manner in which an individual treats others who can do nothing for them.
What do your friends like about you most?
That I tell the unvarnished truth at all times, though some do not want to hear my answers to questions they ask.
What do your friends tease you about the most?
That I exhibit intense, side splitting laughter at my own jokes.
What gets on your nerves?
Lateness and people who cannot put their phones away, especially when having a conversation. And especially people who write in text shorthand even in normal written communication.
What is the most important thing in a relationship?
Friendship, and two-peas-in-a-pod type of companionship. Common philosophy on life and good quality living.
What's the best age to get married?
For men, certainly after 40. We are so much more seasoned by then, though there are some who continue to maintain their boyishness in a grown man's body.
What turns you off?
Vagueness and indecisiveness.
What turns you on?
An independent person. Someone who has their own thoughts and not looking for financial support.
What do you hope to be doing five years from now?
I do not plan to retire completely since I like to keep my brain active. However I want hope to be spending time with my mate as we wish and desire. I won't be wearing a watch.
